Gailyn’s Biography
Gailyn Hefty was born and raised in Plano, TX. She began formal dance instruction at the age of nine. Gailyn was the featured soloist for the Plano Ballet Theatre in the mid-70s. For over 10 years, Gailyn was a member of the Shirley Wolfe Dancers. She has danced in several Pageant shows and TV variety shows. Gailyn has taken master classes in New York City with top name choreographers. Before teaching in Wylie, Gailyn taught dance at a private dance studio for 20 years. She has been with the Wylie program since 1991. She and her husband Steve have been married for 31 years. Steve and Gailyn have 2 adult children, Cameron & Brittany.
